This is a contract-based opportunity specifically tailored for individuals who have retired upon reaching the age of 60 years. These selected candidates will play a pivotal role in supporting and maintaining railway infrastructure within their respective departments. 

Position: Retired Supervisory Staff – Civil Engineering & Signal Department

- Location: Lahore, Pakistan

- Contract Period: 1 Year

Pakistan Railways, with its headquarters in Lahore, is on the lookout for retired supervisory staff from the Civil Engineering and Signal Departments. This unique opportunity is contract-based, offering a one-year engagement for eligible candidates.

Vacant Positions

Civil Categories:

1. PWI/Gr-II (BPS 16) – 15 Vacancies

   - Eligibility: DAE/Civil or Higher Education

   - Experience: 10 years required in the relevant field

2. AWE (BPS 30)

   - Eligibility: DAE/Civil or Higher Education

   - Experience: 10 years required in the relevant field

3. A1FX (BPS 11) – 4 Vacancies

   - Eligibility:** DAE/Civil or Higher Education

   - Experience: 10 years required in the relevant field

Signal Categories:

4. SE/Signal (BPS 16) – 5 Vacancies

   - Eligibility: DAE/Electrical or Electronics

   - Experience: 3 years

Eligibility Criteria

- Maximum age limit: 62 years.

- Applicants who have previously worked in the above categories will be considered for contract appointments for these jobs.

- Selected candidates will receive a salary according to their last pay drawn, along with applicable allowances.

- The selected candidates will not be entitled

 to gratuity and pension.

Terms and Conditions

- The competent authority reserves

 the right to reject

 any application without assigning any reason.

- The number of posts may be the subject 

to change without prior notice.

- Selected candidates will be required 

to pass a medical fitness

 examination from Pakistan Railways Hospital.

- Candidates who retired compulsorily, were removed, or retired on medical grounds are not eligible for appointment.

- Call letters will be issued 

candidates for contract appointments.

- No TA/DA will be provided for

 interviews and medical examinations.

- Selected candidates may be posted anywhere 

within the entire Railway System.

Required Documents

Applicants must submit attested copies of the

 following documents along with their applications:

- All educational certificates

- National Identity Card (Computerized)

- Railway retired Identity Card

- Photocopy of PPO (Pension Payment Order)

- Photocopy of LPC (Last Pay Certificate)

- Service Certificate & Experience Certificate

- Three (03) fresh passport-size photographs

- Three (03) postal envelopes 

(with RAD card) 

with complete addresses, including cell numbers.
